1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing or using MentorCart ("Application", "Service", "we", "us") on your Shopify store, you ("Merchant", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the Application.
2. License & Service Scope
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, MentorCart grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service on Shopify stores owned or operated by you.
MentorCart provides an AI sales assistant widget that interacts with your store visitors, provides catalog-based recommendations, and allows human handoff via Telegram or Admin dashboard.
3. Merchant Responsibilities
As a merchant using MentorCart, you agree to:
- Maintain an active, valid Shopify account in good standing.
- Provide accurate store information and ensure your product descriptions, prices, and stock values comply with applicable consumer laws.
- Not use the Service to transmit unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or infringing content.
- Comply with all applicable data protection laws (including GDPR and CCPA) regarding personal data collected from your store visitors.
4. AI Output & Disclaimers
MentorCart utilizes artificial intelligence to generate conversational responses based on your store's catalog data. While we strive for high accuracy, AI responses are generated automatically.
- You acknowledge that AI models may occasionally provide unexpected responses. Merchants maintain full control over product descriptions, pricing rules, and handoff settings.
- MentorCart does not guarantee specific sales increases or conversion rates.
5. Fees & Shopify Billing
All fees associated with MentorCart subscriptions and plan upgrades are billed directly through the official Shopify Billing API in accordance with Shopify's merchant terms.
Free trials, tier allowances, and recurring billing schedules are clearly presented in the Shopify Admin billing screen prior to merchant confirmation.
6. Intellectual Property
MentorCart and its underlying software, algorithms, designs, logos, and trademarks remain the exclusive property of MentorCart. Your product catalog, brand assets, and customer conversation records remain your intellectual property.
7. Termination & Cancellation
You may terminate this agreement at any time simply by uninstalling MentorCart from your Shopify store admin.
Upon uninstallation, your access will cease immediately, and your store data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Shopify's shop/redact protocol.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MentorCart and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service.
